We’ve heard too many stories of limbs and rocks breaking thru factory skid plates causing damage to the SXS or even worse, injuring riders. With safety in mind, we make our skid plates from 1/2″ HDPE. The 1-piece design replicates the factory skid plate but almost 3 times thicker!

• Skid plate is made using 1/2″ HDPE. HDPE stands for High Density Polyethylene which is known for its outstanding tensile strength and large strength-to-density ratio. HDPE plastic has a high-impact resistance.
